We have designed, in collaboration with our veterinary team, recipes that follow the standards of FEDIAF (European Pet Food Industry Federation) for dog food in all life stages and all breeds, in order to be complete and balanced. That is, to contain the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals that a dog needs in the long term.

Moreover, we run nutritional analyses and tests conducted by the Analytical Laboratories of Athens “Eurofins”, in order to certify the quality of our food.

Finally, we choose ingredients that we would consume ourselves (human-grade) and of course because our recipes are delicious!

It has been observed that dogs fed only cooked food have better digestion, fewer allergies, shinier coats and healthier skin, more energy and enthusiasm for mealtime!

All meals are cooked in our kitchen, which meets all the requirements for cooked food and has been licensed by the Veterinary Service (approval number 501Y3EL02PPE).

All ingredients are cooked at low temperatures using the sous vide method (cooking in a vacuum), so that all the necessary nutrients are preserved and at the same time any bacteria and pathogenic organisms are neutralized. They are then flash-cooled at a low temperature according to the HACCP standard, so that the meals remain completely fresh until the day of delivery.

Our food is cooked without preservatives and should be treated accordingly.

Meals are delivered freshly frozen so we usually recommend storing most of the food in the freezer and putting a few portions in the fridge to thaw. If they are not opened, they last up to 7 days in storage and 3 months in the freezer.

When you open a package it should be consumed within 2 days.

Our food is already cooked so there is no need to cook it further. What you can do if your dog does not want to eat it cold is to mix it with a little warm water or put it in the microwave for a while and serve it!

Every dog is unique and its caloric needs differ according to age, weight, body type, whether it is neutered or not and its daily activity.

In collaboration with our veterinary team, we have formulated tables according to the standards of the European Organization for Food for Companion Animals (FEDIAF) that calorically cover each dog. For your convenience, after you answer our questionnaire, we automatically calculate the amount you should give your dog based on our tables and your answers.

Don't forget that as valid as our tables are, only you know the real activity, weight, age, etc. of your dog. Adjust accordingly (increase or decrease) the amount of food if your dog's activity or weight changes.

It is also your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes in your dog's weight, activity, or even any new allergies they may have developed, so that we can continue to send you the correct amount.

It's not necessary, but you can do it! Our recipes are designed according to FEDIAF (European Pet Food Industry Federation) standards for dog food at all life stages and can replace any dog's normal diet.

Many dogs with health issues thrive on cooked food, but as every situation is different, if your dog has been diagnosed with any health issue or is on any particular treatment then we recommend that you consult your vet.

Of course you can! But research has shown that home-cooked food lacks many nutrients or has some others in excessive quantities, making it incomplete and imbalanced as well as potentially dangerous.

We cook with fresh raw materials intended for human consumption. We don't add preservatives, coloring or anything we wouldn't eat ourselves. We thus ensure the maximum quality of nutrients in our products.

After taking our questionnaire test to find the ideal plan for your dog, at the end of the order you choose when you want to receive their food and tick the Subscribe button.

You don't need to place an order again. Your order will be automatically renewed 2 days before delivery where you will be charged the amount of the food and nothing else.

You can cancel your subscription at any time without any additional costs, either through your account, or via email at orders@petchef.gr or call us at 211 199 4760.

We simply ask that any change concerning either your scheduled delivery, the delivery address or even changes to the recipes be made up to 2 days before the scheduled delivery , through your account or by email to orders@petchef.gr or by phone at 211 199 4760.

If it is something urgent, of course you can call us and we will surely find the solution!

Subscription payments are made only by a charge to your debit or credit card through Stripe 's secure environment.

We believe that this is a bit difficult to happen, but if your dog is not satisfied with our food, we will refund the amount of the order and cancel your subscription .

In case you have received your order and want to travel, put the petchef packets in a cooler or an insulated bag for transport and then store them in the refrigerator or freezer according to the instructions for use. Our packages, if not opened, can comfortably last in the fridge for 7 days.

At the moment we only deliver within Attica. We are doing our best to expand our distribution network as soon as possible.

In case you want to pick up at a different address within Attica, please inform us no later than 2 days before the scheduled delivery.

With our subscription model you only order once (the package that suits your dog's needs) and then our food comes to your door every 2 or 4 weeks without re-ordering. You choose all of these at the end of the order and you can change or cancel the subscription very easily at any time through your Account or contact us at orders@petchef.gr or at 211 199 4760.

If you do not wish to become a subscriber you can simply order your dog's food for 1 to 4 weeks.

At the moment we only deliver within Attica.

Orders are prepared and leave us usually within 4-6 working days from the moment of your order.

The delivery time varies according to the load of the orders. During this period we need up to 15 working days.

Always check the confirmation email we send for the delivery time.

If you are a subscriber, your order arrives every 2 or 4 weeks, depending on the plan you have chosen, within 2-3 working days.

You are informed by email one day before the delivery, while you also receive an sms from the "optimo route" sender with a link stating the exact 3 hour delivery time.
