We have designed , in collaboration with our veterinary team , recipes that follow the FEDIAF (European Pet Food Industry Federation) standards for dog and cat food at all stages of their life and all breeds, in order to be complete and balanced . That is, to contain the essential nutrients, vitamins and trace elements that a dog or cat needs long-term.
Also, our recipes undergo nutritional analyses and tests by the Athens Eurofins Analytical Laboratories, to certify the quality of our food in practice.
We choose ingredients that we would consume ourselves (human-grade) and of course because our recipes are delicious!
It has been observed that pets that are fed only cooked food have better digestion, fewer allergies, shinier fur and healthy skin, more energy and excitement for mealtime!
All meals are cooked in our kitchen, which meets all the requirements for cooked food and has received an operating license from the Veterinary Service. (approval number 501Y3EL02PPE)
All ingredients are cooked at low temperatures using the sous vide method (vacuum cooking) , so as to preserve all the necessary nutrients while neutralizing any bacteria and pathogens. They are then flash-frozen at low temperatures according to the HACCP standard , so that the meals remain fresh until the day of delivery.
Our food is cooked without preservatives and we should treat it accordingly.
Meals are delivered fresh frozen, so we usually recommend storing most of your food in the freezer and taking a few portions out to defrost in the refrigerator. If unopened, they will last up to 10 days in the freezer and 12 months in the freezer.
Once you open a package it should be consumed within 3 days .

Our food is already cooked so there is no need for that. What you can do if your dog or cat doesn't want to eat it cold is to mix it with a little hot water or put it in the microwave for a while and serve!
Every pet is unique and their calorie needs vary depending on their age, weight, body type, whether they are neutered or not, and their daily activity.
In collaboration with our veterinary team, we have created tables according to the standards of the European Federation for Pet Food (FEDIAF) that cover the calories of each dog and cat. For your convenience, after you answer our questionnaire, we automatically calculate the amount you should give your dog or cat based on our tables and your answers.
Don't forget that no matter how valid our tables are, only you know your pet's actual activity, weight, age, etc. Adjust the amount of food accordingly (increase or decrease) in case your pet's activity or weight changes.
It is also your responsibility to inform us of any changes in your pet's weight, activity level, or even any new allergies they may have, so that we can continue to send you the correct quantity.
It's not necessary, but you can do it! Our recipes are designed based on FEDIAF (European Pet Food Industry Federation) standards for pet food at all stages of their life and can replace the regular diet of any dog or cat.
Many dogs and cats with health issues do well on cooked food, but because each case is different, if your pet has been diagnosed with any health issue or is taking any specific medication, we recommend that you consult your veterinarian.
Of course you can! But research has shown that home-cooked food lacks many nutrients or has some in excessive amounts, making it not only not complete and balanced but sometimes dangerous.
We cook with fresh ingredients intended for human consumption. We do not add preservatives, colorings or anything that we would not eat ourselves. Thus ensuring the maximum quality of nutrients in our products.

Easily!
After you take the test with our questionnaire to come up with the ideal plan for your dog or cat, at the end of the order, you select when you want to receive their food and check the Subscription button.
You do not need to place an order again. Your order will be automatically renewed 2 days before delivery where you will be charged the amount of the food and nothing else.
You can cancel your subscription at any time without any additional cost, either through your account, or by email at orders@petchef.gr or call us at 211 199 4760.

We simply ask that any changes regarding either your scheduled delivery, delivery address or even changes to recipes be made up to 2 days before the scheduled delivery , through your account or by email at orders@petchef.gr or by phone at 211 199 4760.
If it's something urgent, of course you can call us and we will definitely find a solution!
Subscription payments are made only by charging your debit or credit card through Stripe 's secure environment.
We believe this is a little difficult to happen, but if your dog or cat is not satisfied with our food, we will refund the order amount and cancel your subscription .
If you have received your order and want to travel, place the petchef packages in a cooler or an insulated bag for transport and then store them in the refrigerator or freezer according to the instructions for use. Our packages, if unopened, can easily last 7 days in the refrigerator!
In case you want to travel and want to postpone a delivery, you can easily do so from your account or contact us.
We accept changes up to 2 days before the scheduled delivery.

With our subscription model you order only once (the package that suits your dog or cat's needs) and then our food comes to your door every 2 or 4 weeks without having to place a new order. You select all of these at the end of the order and you can change or cancel your subscription very easily at any time through your Account or contact us at orders@petchef.gr or at 211 199 4760.
- If you do not wish to subscribe, you can simply order your dog or cat's food only once from 1 to 4 weeks by selecting the "I want it once" button.
For orders placed through our website, we only deliver within Attica (except for a few postal areas)
Outside of Attica you will only find us through our partner stores and not through orders from our website.

- Orders are prepared and shipped from us usually within 3-5 business days from the time of your order.
Delivery time varies depending on the volume of orders.
Always check the confirmation email we send for the delivery time.
- If you are a subscriber, your orders arrive every 2 or 4 weeks, depending on the plan you have chosen, within 2-3 business days.
- You are notified by email one day before delivery, while you also receive an SMS from an "optimo route" sender with a link that indicates the exact 2-hour delivery time.

Once logged in, click the "ORDER AGAIN" button next to each of your orders to add it directly to your cart.
3. Your order is ready to ship
That's it! Your order has been added to your cart and all you have to do is proceed to checkout.
We will contact you to arrange a re-delivery. Usually ships the next business day.
If we are unable to deliver to you even after the second attempt, your order will remain at our headquarters for 3 business days where you can pick it up, otherwise your order will be canceled.
